Authentic, hand-crafted culinary plate compiled by lustrous crystals mined from the foothills of the Himalayas. These mineral-rich salt plates are a great addition to any kitchen. With multiple uses as a serving plate for seasoning, cooking, and grilling.
Recommended Uses.
Chilled Serving : Place your culinary plate in the freezer overnight to serve cold appetizers such as sushi, fruits and vegetables, cheese, cold dips, shellfish, ice cream and other frozen desserts at your next get together.
Hot Cooking : Make sure your salt platter is completely dry before heating - allowing at least 24 hours for the platter to dry before heating. Heat your salt plate on the grill to cook thin cuts of meat and fish.
Grills & Gas Ranges: Start by heating on low flame, gradually increasing from low/medium until ideal temperature is reached. Make sure the plate has cooled down before removing from the grill.
Care & Cleaning.
Himalayan salt is naturally known for its antimicrobial elements and requires no cleansers. After use, hand-wash using warm water and a damp cloth or sponge.
After multiple uses, it is extremely common for your salt plate to develop color changes or depressions. To even out the surface, you can use a small piece of sand paper to easily sand its surface flat.
